Kari Buist-Baker is the Founder & CEO of Senior Life Management, Inc., Kari is a Registered Nurse and Professional Legal Nurse Consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from BIOLA University & Masters Certification in Gerontology from Chapman-Brandman University. Kari is a Charter Member & Nationally Certified Case Manager since 1993 and holds other memberships with: The National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, Orange County Alzheimer’s Association Resource, and the National Association of Women Business Owners. Kari has also completed 9 marathons since the age of 50.
The Senior Life Management team is composed of expert clinicians who coordinate multiple services to maintain the best standard of care for the senior. This includes harmonizing multidisciplinary services with available community resources and the multifaceted relationships involved in implementing services between physicians and other professionals. This is accomplished while ensuring the best outcome in an efficient time frame for the senior and their significant support persons. SLM provides a rich background of professional and experienced assistance and advice. Tailored care plans are developed to assure safety and well-being in the home environment: and can include a hands-on approach with tours and appropriate choices of alternative community settings. The nurse liaison component alleviates the stressors and the fragmentation that occurs in family situations
